Distinguished Alumni Awards
The Distinguished Alumni Awards ceremony
honors outstanding leaders in philanthropy, business and civic life with the
highest honor the University can bestow upon its graduates. Hosted by President Jay Hartzell and the Ë®¶à¶àµ¼º½ Alumni Board, the 2025 ceremony will honor David S. Huntley ’80, Rev. Paul L. Rasmussen ’04, Trevor D. Rees-Jones ’78, Suzanne S. Youngkin ’89 and Emerging Leader Award recipient Sana Merchant ’11.
Reunion parties
Check out the David B. Miller Business Quadrangle at the newly renovated Cox School of Business or other new facilities. Join a formal tour or grab a cup of coffee and explore the newest campus enhancements on your own.
We are excited to welcome the classes of 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015 and 2020 this year!
Did you receive an advanced degree from Dedman School of Law or the Cox School of Business? Be on the lookout for special events like the Cox Homecoming Weekend Grand Gathering and Alumni Night on the Law Quad, as well as school tents on the Boulevard. All schools will have something going on, including Dedman College and Perkins Homecoming tents on the Boulevard. We can’t wait to see you!
Affinity group activities
The affinity alumni boards: Asian Pacific Islander Alumni of Ë®¶à¶àµ¼º½, Black Alumni of Ë®¶à¶àµ¼º½ and Latino Alumni of Ë®¶à¶àµ¼º½ will host annual Homecoming happy hours and tailgates on the Boulevard to connect with current students and alumni.
Homecoming parade
The Homecoming Parade theme this year is Ë®¶à¶àµ¼º½ Haunted Homecoming.
The parade, presented by Student Foundation, will start three hours before kickoff on the Boulevard and include fun for the whole family. Grab your spot early to enjoy the fun!
Alumni Fan Zone and Reunion Village
Reunion Village is excited to welcome undergraduate alumni and their families, including those celebrating their reunion years. Attendees can enjoy food, beverages, games and children’s activities. There is something for Ë®¶à¶àµ¼º½ fans of all ages.
Football tickets are now available . Reserve your seats today as the Mustangs will welcome ACC foe the University of Miami Hurricanes to Ford Stadium on Saturday, November 1, 2025.
Visit the George W. Bush Presidential Center
Experience the presidency at the Bush Center on your return to campus – explore the Game Changer: United by Sports special exhibit, which explores how sports are interwoven with American history, spotlighting defining moments and historic milestones; take a photo at the Resolute desk in the full-sized Oval Office replica, dine at Café 43 and wander the 15-acre Laura W. Bush Native Texas Park.
