Committee Purpose:

The purpose of the Ë®¶à¶àµ¼º½ Dedman School of Law Curriculum/Academic Standards Committee is to review curriculum, new program proposals, and academic policies and procedures to ensure they are consistent with Ë®¶à¶àµ¼º½’s strategic academic priorities.

Our goals include:

• Monitor and align Dedman Law’s academic programs to Ë®¶à¶àµ¼º½’s academic mission and strategic plans.
• Consider and approve proposals for new courses and programs.
• Consider and approve whether academic programs are appropriately responding to student needs, interests, and professional workforce demands.
• Assess and monitor the educational quality of Dedman Law's programs to continuously improve our academic standards.

To reach these goals, we focus on the following:

• Revision of course offerings
• Elimination of programs
• Modification of courses
• Modification of programs
• Creation of new certificates
• Review of other substantive educational changes
