Cathy Hoy-Larkin
Cathy Hoy-Larkinis the Data Insights Specialist for Academic Affairs at the Meadows School of the Arts. In this role, she leads data analytics and visualization efforts, prepares statistical and data reports, and serves as the data steward for Meadows. She conducts statistical analyses, develops automated workflows, standardizes processes and collaborates with campus data teams to support institutional decision-making. Hoy-Larkinalso manages survey and research projects, oversees feedback collection, and produces internal and external reports and graphics.
Her professional background encompasses extensive experience in business analytics, data analytics and statistical consulting. She has served as a statistical advisor and associate editor for Current Psychology, as well as a statistical advisor and senior associate editor for School Psychology International.
Hoy-Larkin earned her Ph.D. specializing in data science, methodology, and educational psychology, and holds a B.A. in applied psychology and social psychology. She has also completed multiple certifications in data science, data analytics, and business analytics, and is a certified Scrum Master. Examples of her technical expertise include SQL, R, Python, Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Power Automate and advanced Excel.
