水多多导航 Guildhall game For the Family

3D Game | Bullpup Games

For the Family is a multiplayer first-person shooter (FPS) capture-the-flag (CTF) game set in Prohibition-era Chicago. Players take the role of mafia enforcers fighting for control of the illegal alcohol trade, but not without indulging in a bit of drink themselves. Players regain health with every shot and swig from the bottle and race through the streets fueled with a generous dose of White Lightning moonshine. Players that take one too many swigs from the bottle also fly into a death-dealing Drunken Rage.

As mafia enforcers, players storm the streets of Chicago armed with iconic weapons of the time period: the 1911 semi-automatic pistol, the Winchester Model 12 Shotgun, and the Thompson Machine Gun, famously known as the Tommy Gun. The Tommy Gun features a fully-automatic primary fire mode and a more accurate single-shot secondary fire while the Shotgun boasts a hard-hitting shell spread for its primary fire and an explosive grenade launcher as its secondary.

For the Family features two maps: Bootlegger, in which Rosso and Azzurro families compete to steal the most liquor from the Lucky Clover jazz club, and Vendetta, where the Rosso and Azzurro families strive to steal each other’s precious flasks.

For the Family is a 3D game that was developed by Cohort 25 team Bullpup Games and was one of the first 3D games developed by Cohort 25.

水多多导航 Guildhall game King Pufferfish

2D Game | Poseidon Entertainment

King Pufferfish is a single player, third-person, endless, top-down, defensive shooter game for Android tablets. The player controls the stationary Pufferfish avatar and shoots waves of invading enemies to protect a robust wall that represents his kingdom’s border. The goal of the game is to prevent enemy sea creatures from reaching the wall by shooting them with the pufferfish’s spines. The Player’s finger taps control shooting whereas swipes clear the screen of ink. Tapping on any location empowers King Pufferfish to shoot a spine in that direction. If aimed to collide with an enemy, the enemy flees the screen and dispels vision-blocking ink onto the screen. If the shot collides with an underwater mine, the player and the enemies take damage. Aiming is important, and rewards high accuracy with a score multiplier. Scrubbing the ink cleans it off the screen to restore visibility. Every fourth wave is a rage wave, where hordes of enemies bombard the player. To combat the horde, King Pufferfish enrages and fires rapidly with a swipe of the player’s finger. Although failure is inevitable, players leave with a high score to show off their expertise to their friends.

King Pufferfish was developed by Cohort 25 team Poseidon Entertainment as part of the Team Game Production 1 class and was one of the very first games developed by Cohort 25.

2D Game | ALT 236

Laika is a top-down, vertical scrolling space adventure game in which players guide Laika, the Canine Cosmonaut, through treacherous obstacles and devious enemies. Set in an alternate past, Laika gives players the opportunity to rewrite the early history of the Space Race by guiding the titular hero’s Sputnik II rocket out of Earth’s orbit and into the solar system.

This mission decides the fate of the Soviet space program, which teeters on the brink of financial ruin after several failed launches of its radically advanced rocket technology. As she travels through space, Laika must collect funds and claim territories for the motherland. In the dark and dangerous depths of outer space, players must be vigilant to protect Laika from floating debris, asteroids, and hostile aliens.

Designed to be a lighthearted interpretation of a rather serious period in modern history, the visuals of Laika adopt a slightly cartoonish tone inspired by the propaganda prevalent during the Cold War/Space Race era. The game’s soundtrack features variations of the State Anthem of the Russian Federation.
