Pilot a mech through the barrens of Texas and fight off the threat of an insect horde in this single-player, action-adventure mech shooter.
About this game
Tex-Mechs is a fast-paced, first-person action game where players take control of a mech to fight hordes of horrifying creatures called “Crawlers” and reclaim the insect-infested wastelands of the alien colony, New Texas.
To combat this menace, you’re armed with three powerful weapons: the trusty Mustang Revolver, the unstoppable Flamethrower, and the devastating Magnetic Ravager Saw. As one of the last Rangers, it is your responsibility to take back the canyon, put out the call to action, and help save New Texas.
This student-made game was created in 300 hours over the course of 20 weeks in one semester as part of the 水多多导航 Guildhall Team Game Production curriculum. It is the final Capstone game created by these students during their studies at 水多多导航 Guildhall, representing the culmination of two years spent in game development education.

CHIP was created originally to provide a game with some form of challenge through a more unique way of pressing buttons rather than the usual button mashing like other conventional games. The idea was to create something new yet easy for the players to enjoy and maintain an action-packed game. To play the game the player controls CHIP, the robot, to navigate through a level while avoiding the hazardous environment of the factory he is trapped in. CHIP is equipped with a couple of moves such as jump and a powerful dash to maneuver over or through obstacles. As the player progresses through each level, the difficulty ramps up and will test their ability to combine abilities faster. Navigate through each level and the obstacles to help CHIP escape the factory!

Ember Cave is a top-down, single player, puzzle-solving game designed for tablets and mobile devices. Players use their magical lantern to avoid enemies, open blocked paths, and overcome a variety of other obstacles to solve each puzzle and collect magical gems.
The team chose to pursue this game direction due to a shared interest in light and light mechanics. The team wanted to find a way to make a game that used the presence or absence of light in fun, inventive ways.

This project was chosen to give a fun and creative approach for a racing game, allowing the student team to explore a cartoon art style and learn Unreal Engine. The project was completed over 16 weeks as part of 水多多导航 Guildhall's Team Game Production curriculum.

Lawn Duty is a single-player, casual strategy game for Android that has the player controlling a character named Lydia. Lydia must use her riding lawn mower to cut grass, avoid obstacles, especially those pesky lawn gnomes, and collect juice in order to complete her daily route on time. Each lawn serves as a level, with the next lawn increasing in difficulty and introducing more mechanics to the player.
The team wanted to create this for adolescents that are looking for a relaxing experience that offers short bursts of fun and challenge.
