About this game
Welcome to The Ghastleybriar Zoo. Here, bizarre critters run amok, and only you can return the zoo to its former state. Playing as Edward Mump, zookeeper, you are on a mission to recapture these creatures. Armed with only his trusty sack, Mump scours the zoo, encountering cowardly Oddbobs, mischevious Grummies, and furious Rumpuses on the way to a climactic encounter with the terrifying Umbuggler.
The Ghastleybriar Zoo Incident is a third-person action platformer developed in Source over a period of six months. The Cohort 8 team, BATTLE SQUIRREL GALACTICA, strove to create a very unique personality, influenced by the works of Edward Gorey and expressed through characters, environments, gameplay and dialogue. To this end, the team used a cartoonish, exaggerated art style with a sepia shader to recreate the look of a silent film. This fun and unique title is bound to be a great experience for gamers of all types.
