About this game

Weekday Warrior is a Half-Life 2 mod made in the vein of the old-school adventure games we all came to know and love. Weekday Warrior was designed to have all the fun of classic adventure games with none of the frustration. Item collecting? We got it! Mini-games? Oh yeah! Talking to all sorts of crazy characters? You bet!

Set inside a modern corporate office environment, the player takes on the persona of Doug Smith, a very bored man with the untapped potential for greatness. Because of Doug's status as a corporate drone, the only way for him to explore his potential is to fantasize himself into a more exciting life. Doug, as an avid comic book fan, particularly likes to imagine himself as a character called The Mongoose, a James Bond like super-spy.

Enter a sudden plot from the upstairs office that could get Doug and all his co-workers fired. You must navigate Doug through the drama and political struggle that ensues. Doug has the will to save his office, if only he had the means. Can Doug save all his coworkers from certain doom? Or actually, who cares about the rest of them, can he save himself? The Mongoose could do it... can you?

A squad-based modern military first person shooter, Sandstorm puts you in the center of the middle eastern conflict. As a United States Marine in charge of a convoy of supplies heading for the capitol city, you must do whatever it takes to ensure the troops get the supplies they need.

Equally determined are the insurgent forces, hell-bent on cutting off coalition forces from their supply chain. Armed with an array of lethal weaponry ranging from AK-47s to Rocket Propelled Grenades, and sporting a healthy disregard for human life, they will stop at nothing in their attempt to drive coalition forces out of the area. From the rugged mountain terrain to the sprawling urban cityscape, they will be ready and waiting to ambush you from every conceivable angle.

But the conflict is far from one sided. Working with a highly trained squad of marines, you have superior firepower, tactics, and support. Extensively trained to handle this sort of situation, you and your squad are ready to react at the first sign of trouble. You will prevail, no matter the cost. The coalition forces in the city depend on it. Developed on top of the award winning Call of Duty engine, Sandstorm spans three massive levels filled with visceral action and sequences inspired by real events. It delivers cinematic pacing and squad based game play in an approachable, pick-up-and-play first person shooter design.
